Geeta Kadambi, Ph.D, is a Patent Agent in the firm's Mountain View and Bangalore office. Geeta specializes in pharmaceutical, life sciences, aerospace, and medical device patent preparation and support services. Geeta's areas of expertise are in molecular biology, clinical biochemistry, gene expression, robotic production, automation, bioinformatics and stem cells research.

Prior to joining Raj Abhyanker PC, Geeta worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Washington DC as a Patent Examiner. In this capacity, Geeta has significant expertise evaluating and prosecuting patent applications in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, cosmetics and medical device arts. Geeta has worked on prosecuting more than 200 U.S. patent applications and is well versed in patent prosecution best practices.

Prior to working at the USPTO, Geeta worked at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California as a Senior Scientist (Biotechnology). At NASA, Geeta helped in writing patent applications, claims, and responses to office actions for a variety of advanced technologies. In addition, Geeta is listed as an inventor on patents pending for NASA and has over ten years of experience in the biotechnology industry.

Geeta was a Post doctoral fellow Neonatology division at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA and ARVO/CIBA NEI International Post doctoral fellow at Ophthalmology department, University of Minnesota, MN. Geeta holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Madras, India.
