Description:
Raj Abhyanker, PC will be running an intensive KPO training program starting in December 2006 in Bangalore, India. We are currently accepting applications from candidates who desire to work in the emerging Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) space. All candidates will be provided a stipend for the duration of their participation in the program. Patent Engineers will, on successful completion of training, undergo personal career training and mentorship while working closely with our US-based patent attorneys to deliver high quality patent preparation and prosecution services.
Eligibility:
- First-class Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering (Non IT-related), Law, Science and/or Management from reputed institutes.
- Exceptionally qualified university rank holders in other disciplines like Journalism, Literature, English, Visual Communication, Technical Writing, etc. may be considered.
- A few positions are available for outstanding individuals who have just retired after an illustrious career in the Defense Services, PSUs R&D organizations, and top-tier educational institutions.
Skills:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Computer savvy, MS Office, strong web-browsing and internet research skills
- Extremely strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work long hours on structured tasks
Experience:
- Candidates with up to 2 years of work experience preferred

Program Details:
- The training program will take place from 1 Dec 2006 to 28 Feb 2007, in Bangalore
- Training will be led by Raj Abhyanker, a US Patent Attorney
Compensation:
- During training, depending upon qualification and experience, a salary of Rs. 8000 – 15,000 will be paid
- On successful completion of training, top qualifying employees can draw salaries of up to Rs. 25,000 per month
- Exceptionally talented and dedicated employees can expect to earn up to Rs. 50,000 per month after nine months of employment.

Patent Agent - Mountain View
Prefer candidates with a MS in Electrical Engineering degree or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering degree. Candidates must have a solid training in U.S. patent prosecution at a corporate legal department or at a leading law firm.
