Having developed strong patent drafting and patent prosecution skills at leading Silicon Valley law firms, Raj felt that clients can be better served through a firm designed from scratch that is optimized for a global economy. Particularly, Raj wanted to create a firm that leverages globalization to its fullest to improve quality during U.S. patent application preparation and prosecution, and focuses on original inventions generated in Silicon Valley and India.

Raj Abhyanker, P.C. has a U.S. office in Mountain View, close to many innovative start-ups and established hi-tech companies. In addition to the Mountain View office, the firm maintains an office in Warsaw, Poland and Chennai, India to locally service U.S. patent prosecution requirements of multi-national companies having R&D operations in Chennai.
